Yesterday, my group mates Jonathan, Justin and I finally submitted our very own
window display for the subject Interior Behavioral Studies~
We were given a range of different brands to choose from.
We were standing on the fence between Nike and G2000 at first but in the end and we choose
Nike
as our brand.
The brief of this assignment is pretty simple and straight forward,
design a window display for the brand you selected with the given scale.
This subject is a must take subject for me as an Interior Design student but it is actually only an elective for both Jonathan and Justin as they are architecture students.
The main idea was from me and from time to time, we did changes bit by bit under the influence of our tutor and from my point of view, our ideas and concepts for the final product are very satisfying or should i say great?=)
A big thanks to Jonathan and Justin as they did most of the hard work especially
Jonathan who bought almost all the materials.
Although i was the leader of the group, i know i am not a good leader as i laid my focus more to the building of the Colosseum where the group wasn't as discipline as this group(i am really glad both of them are in my group) and what i did were mostly giving opinions and being the one to agree and disagree to their ideas (of course with hardcore explanation). Of course i did help out a little bit of here and there~
The product we used for our display was Nike Running and our slogan
'Running Without Boundaries'
was thought of Jonathan if i am not mistaken.
We try to make it simple and straight to the point and this was what we made out after about a week of brain storming, exchanging ideas, measurements and model making.
This is the mannequin Justin bought and the tick i made
This is the floor plan without the ceiling for our display after everything gotten in place
The facade of our display
We put a branding wall as advised
We even have lighting for our display (Thanks to Jonathan's sis for keeping it after KH so we don't have to do another one)
If you see clearly, there is an led under the tick
The final product
Overall i enjoy making this then the Colosseum which made me even more assure that my choice for pursuing Interior Designing rather then Architecture is correct=)
A big extra credit to Jonathan for putting the power point slides together.
I really enjoy having idea on designing a window display as usually when we go to malls or shopping complexes, we see other designers work. This time, we finally able to did one on our own and i am really satisfy with the result=) Our tutor love it, our classmates likes it as well, so i am really happy as i love it too~
When you have a dream, when you want something,
JUST DO IT
